The Libelle is a salon clipper build in 1910. The ship, just twenty meters long (60ft.), is almost unique in its kind but certainly unique in the canals of Amsterdam. This ship is also crafted by the craftsman who restored the other two ships into their original state.
But with our flagship he has surpassed himself, the absolute highlight being the built-in professional kitchen where a chef can prepare a meal on board.
Talking about unforgettable… And unparalleled… Devour on board our salonclipper by our chef with live cooking or a luxurious dinner. Our host will make sure that you and your guest with be well taken care of.
Tables can, depending on group size, be replaced and in the rear an extra table can be placed.
The Libelle is equipped with central heating, a toilet, double glazing, fabric covering, open rear, warm and cold running water, a professional kitchen and radio with usb-connection.
Due to the electric propulsion you have no motor noise or emission; this way we (and you) participate in making Amsterdam greener and healthier.

It's always super quick and efficient working with Mireille and her colleagues. Even last-minute, they often manage to arrange a lovely boat. The skippers always have a perfect sense of when it's the right time to share interesting facts and stories about the Amsterdam views. They’re great at adapting to the different types of groups and clients we bring on board. I learn something new every time.

The salon boats are in excellent condition. Food and drinks on board are top-notch. The captains are polite, attentive to guests’ wishes, and very knowledgeable about the city and its events. In short: Classic Boat Tours is highly recommended.

We had an amazing time. The combination of the starter and main course at the Amstel Hotel, followed by dessert on the boat, was incredibly well organized and a great mix. Our enthusiastic and super friendly captain gave a fascinating talk about Amsterdam and the Light Festival, which made the cruise even more enjoyable. All in all, we had a fantastic evening! Many thanks!
